Back in August 2004, I purchased a pair of Bose QuiteComfort 2 Noise Cancelling headphones. In the last few months, the ear cushions had begun to deteriorate. The black plastic was flaking off and the black crumbs were leaving stains all over the place. If I put the headphones down on a magazine or newspaper, a big oil stain would be left behind. The Bose company sells replacement cushions for $35.00. I was able to purchase a new, unsed pair for $30.98 (this includes postage and handling) from someone on eBay. The old cushions were easy to remove. The new cushions were easy to install.
